Hello I'm Alex was started as a pet project to make connections and to encourage storytelling in a collective blog, whether for entertainment, personal growth or catharsis.

Maybe you're on ther verge of writing that long-contemplated memoir. Or maybe you miss the days of LiveJournal and itch to put proverbial pen to paper again in a semi-public forum.

My motivations are straightforward: I write for a living but want to have fun with it in my free time. Specifically, I use storytelling as a vehicle to connect and reflect and as a canvas for story-based creative projects.
